Material Handler / Forklift Operator – 1st Shift

Pay: $18.00/hour
Shift: 1st Shift | 8–10 hour shifts

Job Summary

We are hiring Material Handlers / Forklift Operators to join our warehouse and manufacturing team. This position is ideal for candidates with forklift, warehouse, shipping, receiving, or material handling experience. You will operate a sit-down or stand-up forklift, move materials throughout the facility, load and unload trailers, stage products, and support production and warehouse operations.

The primary opening is on 1st shift, but candidates must be flexible to work 8–10 hour shifts and occasional schedule changes based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Operate a sit-down or stand-up forklift safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload trailers and semi-trucks.
• Move, stack, and organize pallets and materials throughout the facility.
• Transport parts and materials to production work areas.
• Stage materials and finished products for production and shipping.
• Use RF scanners to scan and track inventory.
• Assist with shipping and receiving activities.
• Verify products, parts, and shipments for accuracy.
• Complete required warehouse, shipping, and inventory paperwork.
• Maintain an organized and safe work area.
• Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines.
• Assist with general warehouse and material handling duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous forklift experience required.
• Experience with sit-down or stand-up forklifts preferred.
• Previous warehouse, material handling, shipping, or receiving experience preferred.
• RF scanner experience is a plus.
• Ability to safely lift and move warehouse materials.
• Ability to work 8–10 hour shifts.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Ability to follow written instructions and safety procedures.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse/manufacturing environment.
• Must be flexible to work different shifts when business needs require.
