Material Handler/ Forklift Operator/ Pallet Jack

Position -- Material Handling Associate Operator

Location -- Clayton, NC

Shift Timings -- Fri- Sat- Sun 6 AM TO 6 PM

Job Summary:
Responsible for receiving, inspecting, storing, tracking, and distributing plasma at a Plasma Logistics Center. The role uses forklifts, electric pallet jacks, RF scanners, and the Plasma Management System to control inventory while following cGMP, SOP, OSHA, and EHS requirements.

• Unload incoming plasma shipments, identify and sort plasma types, and accurately enter receipts into the Plasma Management System (SGP).
• Inspect crates, pallets, and material-handling equipment for damage and determine suitability for use.
• Use RF Terminal (RFT)equipment to track and control inventory movements throughout freezer and warehouse locations.
• Locate and pull plasma from freezer work orders and ensure accurate inventory movement.
• Identify and remove unsuitable plasma units from production units and consolidated lots.
• Support the Classification area by managing rejected or relocated plasma.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with cGMP requirements.
• Follow company SOPs, cGMP, OSHA, and EHS policies.
• Work occasional overtime as required.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1+ year of manufacturing, pharmaceutical, warehouse, or FDA-regulated industry experience preferred.
• Experience with cGMP and SOPs preferred.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow detailed written procedures.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Strong organization and attention to detail.
• Basic computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook.

• Safely operateforklifts to store and transport plasma in freezer and warehouse areas.
• Operate electric pallet jacks/rider pallet jacks.
• Repeatedly lift 25 50 lbs. during the shift.
• Work in freezer temperatures of -30 C or colder.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Follow detailed procedures and changing priorities.
• Maintain quality and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
