What a Material Handler will do:- Keep finished products organized and located properly in warehouses
- Perform accurate and timely shipping, receiving, and movements of products
- Rotate ingredients and packaging in their proper locations after receiving
- Proper and accurate loading and unloading of trucks
- Reconcile inventory discrepancies as discovered
- Operate the shrink wrapper, cardboard bailer, etc.
- Perform physical and cycle counts of inventory
- Backup or substitute inventory control positions
- Identify opportunities for efficiency and productivity gains
- Report on any safety issues, unsafe conditions and accidents immediately
What you need to be a Material Handler:- Previous forklift and shuttle truck operation experience
- Certified and licensed to drive forklifts/trucks
- Understanding of warehousing programs and systems
