Core Forklift Schedule-2nd Shift Monday- Thursday 3:00pm-1:30am

Payrate: 20.00 hourly plus 2.00 Shift Differential

Advanced knowledge of reading/interpreting schedules, distinguish what can be pulled from stock vs. profile required, pulls accurate materials from main whose/storage trailers, knowledge of material locations, takes core to layup lines, ability to direct core that requires cutting to the core saw and core requiring profiling to the routers.

Verify and ensure the core strips required for 7/0 & 8/0 doors are with the core materials brought to the lines. Stocks leftover materials/ components.

Ability to maneuver lift truck safely in tight spaces and recover/return materials to bins.

Advanced knowledge of SKUs, material cut requirements, and coordinating material flow to/off routers, core saw, layup lines.

Forklift knowledge and safety procedures, core types, use of tape measures.

Pull core requirements.

Forklift operating skills to load/unload, lift, move, place, stack raw materials and doors, navigate throughout plant, including populated and small areas, perform safety procedures, read/interpret schedules/tickets, Use measuring tape - to 16th.

Moderate supervision, running from schedule, and flexibility to coordinate Hot Rush/Remake demands.

Verification of correct materials.

Duties and tasks in which the employee has the authority to act and must be performed without supervision.

Constantly getting on/off lift truck to manually lift/slide/flip materials or doors (max. 50 lbs.), bending, lifting, twisting - Picking up materials and disposing as necessary.

Fast-paced job, constant need forklift with little time between taking off product and reloading product.

High degree of concentration and attention to details required consistently.

Constant and clear communication with upstream and downstream departments is required.

Mildly controlled environment - can expect cold and heat during extreme weather conditions.

Moderate core dust.
