Material Handler

PGS Worldwide is seeking Material Handlers at Fort Bliss, Texas for an approximately six-month onsite contract-to-hire role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company. These positions will support logistics and material-kitting operations by receiving, storing, issuing, counting, tracking, and delivering parts and materials used in program assembly activities.

Required Skills

• Experience with material handling, warehouse, inventory, logistics, shipping/receiving, or similar work.
• Experience receiving, checking, storing, issuing, and shipping materials.
• Ability to perform inventory and cycle-counting activities.
• Basic computer skills for inventory tracking, data entry, and material documentation.
• Ability to accurately manage and maintain material records.
• Ability to identify nonconforming material and route it for proper disposition.
• Ability to use manual and/or powered material-handling equipment.
• Ability to maintain an organized and clean work area.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and internal support teams.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Ability to work overtime when needed.

What You'll Do

• Kit required parts and materials for assembly and production use.
• Perform inventory and cycle counts.
• Receive, inspect, store, issue, and ship incoming and outgoing materials.
• Enter and maintain inventory and material information in computer systems.
• Load, unload, store, and deliver materials using appropriate material-handling equipment.
• Maintain accurate material records and support inventory-control activities.
• Coordinate with internal teams and customers to ensure material accuracy and availability.
• Identify nonconforming material and support proper disposition.
• Maintain equipment and surrounding work areas in a clean and orderly condition.
• Support other logistics and material areas as required.

Work Schedule / Shift

• Full-time onsite at Fort Bliss, Texas.
• First shift.
• Overtime may be required.

Pay

• $35.17 per hour.
