Material Handler – Manufacturing / Warehouse

Location: Fort Worth, TX

Pay: $21.50/hr + $1.00/hr Shift Differential (when moved to 2nd Shift)

Additional Information

• Regular Schedule: Monday – Thursday | 3:30 PM – 2:00 AM (4/10 Schedule)
• Training Schedule: Monday – Thursday | 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• All new hires will train on 1st Shift for approximately one month before transitioning to the regular 2nd Shift schedule
• Shift differential of $1.00/hr will be applied once officially assigned to 2nd Shift
• Overtime opportunities available based on business needs

Position Overview

Our manufacturing client is seeking an experienced Material Handler to support warehouse and production operations. This role is responsible for accurately picking, pulling, identifying, and moving materials throughout the facility while maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting production needs. Candidates must have prior material handling experience, forklift experience, and strong computer skills.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Pick, pull, stage, and move materials to support production and shipping operations
• Identify materials using part numbers, heat codes, and product specifications
• Operate sit-down propane forklifts safely and efficiently
• Load, unload, and transport materials throughout the facility
• Maintain accurate inventory records and material locations
• Utilize computer systems for inventory tracking and material transactions
• Generate and respond to emails as needed to support daily operations
• Verify material accuracy and ensure proper documentation is completed
• Assist with receiving, storage, and distribution of materials
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Support overtime operations when production demands require additional coverage

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Prior material handling experience required
• Experience identifying and working with part numbers and heat codes required
• Previous sit-down propane forklift experience required
• Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to create and manage professional email communications
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to lift, carry, and move materials throughout the shift
• Favorable and verifiable work history required
• Criminal background check and drug screen required
