Material Handler
Hire Up Staffing is currently seeking a Material Handler for a large distribution warehouse in Roanoke, TX. Full-Time Pay-$16.00 1st Shift: M-F 6am-2:30pm
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Lifting 40-50 pounds
- Must be able to move around a warehouse shipping and receiving environment 90% of the time.
- Needs to often twist, stoop, crouch, reach about shoulders and below knees
- Needs to move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
Duties may include:
- Performing administrative duties in support of activities related to the shipping of materials and finished goods
- Communicating and coordinating with transportation companies; handling routine questions and problems;
- Maintaining open communication with other departments through the shipping/delivery cycle
- Confirming the accuracy of invoices, bills, and charges relative to the shipment of materials and goods;
- Logging order information into systems; filing and distributing paperwork as necessary;
- Maintain records and generate reports for accounting and other areas.
