Warehouse Associate
Location: Gaithersburg, MD
Pay: $21.00–$22.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
Duration: 2-Month Contract
Job Summary
We are seeking a Warehouse Associate to support inventory and material handling operations in a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for preparing materials for production, maintaining inventory accuracy, processing transactions, and ensuring materials are handled according to cGMP standards. You'll also assist with warehouse organization, safety initiatives, and continuous improvement projects.
Responsibilities- Assemble production kits based on work orders and bills of materials.
- Issue materials to production using the inventory management system.
- Complete inventory transactions and maintain accurate documentation.
- Store, label, and handle materials in compliance with cGMP requirements.
- Move materials throughout the warehouse as needed.
- Perform cycle counts and help resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Keep warehouse areas clean, organized, and stocked.
- Participate in warehouse improvement projects (5S/WCM) and site safety initiatives.
- Complete additional warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications- At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office.
- Experience with MRP/ERP systems is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
- Comfortable performing general warehouse cleaning and using cleaning chemicals when needed.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
