Working together in a supportive and open culture makes our processes evolve for the better and engages our workforce.What we offer from Day One:Shift flexibility to trade shifts and leverage overtime opportunitiesMedical, Dental and Vision coverage160 hours of Paid Time Off and Paid Holidays401K matchEmployee Stock Purchase ProgramPaid Parental LeaveTuition ReimbursementYou'll be offered extensive training, and the tight-knit working environment within the Manufacturing team means employees get additional training from their direct manager and peers when needed.What You'll Be DoingPick raw materials and production supplies from warehouse either by hand, forklift or other means and deliver to the designated areaBy schedule or upon request, pick up materials or empty containers from production areas and transport to the warehouse or other departmentUsing the Enterprise Resource Planning software (GME) to access and update inventory locations if necessary, along with utilize multiple other software systems to execute daily and weekly tasksReceives IPSO (Inter-Plant Shipping Orders) and prepares them for shipmentSecure trailer while loading by blocking and locking outLoad raw materials and production supplies into trailers and box trucksPre-Op the forklift and change out batteries (if required)Notify the supervisor and take appropriate action if any safety, quality, mechanical or discrepancy issues occurSustain a clean and safe work area using 6S principlesLearn, understand, and apply rigorous quality standards, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)What You'll BringHigh School Diploma, GED or equivalent.Must be at least 18 years of age.Must have basic English written and oral communication skills adequate to communicate with other team members and external vendors, suppliers, and customers.Understand verbal and written safety and quality instructions and read and comprehend written work instructions including words and drawings.Must be able to perform basic mathematics.Possess or be able to obtain Powered Industrial Truck CertificationMay be required to obtain Hazmat Training if not already completedModerate computer skills required.Previous experience with a forkliftCRC (Career Readiness Certification) at the Silver level, preferredA high level of detail orientation and organizational skills to improve work area spacePhysical RequirementsThis position requires the continuous operation of a forklift. The position can also involve lifting and carrying up to 75 pounds frequently throughout the shift.Must be able to pass the Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) physicalMust be able to operate foot controls, bend/stoop, squat, climb, reach above shoulder level, reach at or below shoulder level, twist and bend at the neck, twist and bend at the waist and balanceWe understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career.
