Job Title: Material Handler – Grave
Pay: $22.35/hr + $0.75 shift differential
Hours: Monday – Friday, 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM

As a Material Handler, you'll support production by maintaining a steady flow of packaging and ingredients to the facility. You'll operate powered industrial forklifts safely, organize storage areas, assist with production breaks, and load finished goods onto trucks. Make a tangible impact every day in a dynamic work setting.

What You’ll Do


As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for:
  • Safely operate palletizing equipment and other powered industrial vehicles.
  • Follow lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures and safety protocols on machines.
  • Provide production materials before and during manufacturing runs.
  • Identify and address minor issues or abnormalities to ensure smooth operations.
  • Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate upstream and downstream processes.
  • Return unused materials to proper locations after production.
  • Maintain accurate FIFO inventory practices throughout the plant.
  • Organize waste and recycling materials, ensuring proper disposal.
  • Pre-stage and consolidate materials on pallets for production and storage.
  • Operate forklifts safely in busy environments and various conditions.
  • Keep warehouses clean, organized, and operational according to standards.
  • Support the production team with breaks, lunches, and loading operations.
  • Unload materials and ingredients from trailers or storage areas.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support team success.

What You’ll Bring


The ideal candidate for this role will have:
  • Experience in production, warehouse, or manufacturing environments.
  • Basic math skills for measurements and inventory counts.
  • Strong attention to detail and focus under pressure.
  • Physical ability to handle demanding tasks and temperature changes.
  • Steel-toed rubber boots for safety; proper PPE is required.
