Material Handler

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team in Hayward, CA. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility by managing the flow of materials and products. Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and document incoming materials and products.
• Move materials to designated areas using forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with regular stock audits.
• Prepare materials for shipment, ensuring proper packaging and labeling.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and improve processes.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Assist in loading and unloading trucks as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role is a plus.
• Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment (certification preferred).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and perform physical tasks.
• Basic computer skills for inventory management.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
