Material Handler Hiring ASAP

Our client in Greenwich, NY is looking for Material Handlers for a temporary assignment. The position is paying $18.00 - $20.00 per hour. Apply Today call or Text DJ at 518-245-3659 to talk about the role ASAP
The following shifts are available for this position:

• Second Shift ($19.00/hr) - Monday to Friday 3:00PM-11:00PM
• Third Shift ($20.00/hr) - Sunday to Thursday 11:00PM-7:00AM

 MATERIAL HANDLER ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Adhere to all directions from Shift Leadership
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
• Adhere to all break schedules
• Secure work areas to maintain a safe working environment
• Prepare and stage raw materials in an organized, clean, and safe manner including, but not limited to paper, boxes, bags, tape, shrink wrap and pallets
• Communicate with Material Handler 2 to obtain materials as needed
• Transport finished goods to pallets
• Perform proper stacking method according to product type
• Wrap stacked pallets and transport them to designated areas using a pallet jack
• Serve as a spotter for other Material Handlers
• All other duties as assigned

MATERIAL HANDLER MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must be safety focused 
• Must be energetic with a positive attitude
• Must have strong attention to detail 
• Must be highly motivated with the ability to work independently or as a team 
• Must be dependable and have reliable transportation 
• Availability to work any shift
• Ability to communicate effectively in a diverse work environment
• Mechanical aptitude is preferred

MATERIAL HANDLER WORKING CONDITIONS: 

• Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs
• Must be able to stand, walk, push, pull, twist and bend regularly to complete job tasks  
• Use of hands and arms in packing the finished product
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time, up to 3 hours    
• Must be able to work in a non-climate controlled environment
