The Material Handler rotates between numerous daily needs, including picking, packing, shipping, receiving, inventory, pallet jack operation, and operating forklifts. This role requires a generalist warehouse background, capable of contributing to a well-rounded team, whether the needs of production are floor or equipment related.
Responsibilities
Receive incoming goods and verify their condition
Store Materials in designated locations
Manage inventory accuracy, organization, and perform cycle counts
Picking Orders, daily, to prepare items for shipment
Shrink Wrapping, Labeling, Packaging and Staging Outbound orders
Load and unload materials from delivery vehicles
Operate Pallet Jacks to assist with Loading, Unloading, and Order Picking
Operate Sit-Down Forklifts and Stand-Up Reach Trucks, when required
Preferred Qualifications
3+ years of experience in material handling
2 + years of experience with Manual Pallet Jacks
Proven experience and comfortability in Picking/Packing
Proven experience in Shipping/Receiving
Ability to squad, bend, kneel, stand, and be active on the floor throughout the shift
Experience with Sit-Down Forklifts or Reach Trucks is a PLUS, but not required
