Title: Material Handler

Pay rate: $18.00 - 24.00/hour, depending on experience.

Job Code: 82140310 The Materials Handler is responsible for moving materials from machines at workstation as part of production process. * Issue and transfer parts for production. * Assist Production Planner and assembly stores whenever required. * Use the guiding principles and tools of the Manufacturing System to drive continuous improvement, wherever applicable.
Experience and Skills
• Minimum 2 years of materials management experience required.
• SAP experience is required.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills required. Ideal candidate is self-directed and proactive.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Forklift experience is a plus, but not required. (Training will be provided.)
Length of Assignment
• 6 months.
• Potential for extension or conversion to full-time.
Work Environment
• 80% warehouse/shop, 20% desk.
• Not climate-controlled.
• Fast-paced and dynamic.
Training
• NEST in Houston.
Shift/Hours
• Monday - Friday, 8:00 - 16:30.
• Occasional weekend work may be required.
