Material Handler

Pay Rate: $17.68 $19.00/hr, paid weekly
Schedule: Monday Thursday, 6:00 AM 2:00 PM, with possible Friday overtime
Location: Hamilton, OH 45015

MUST HAVE FORKLIFT EXPERIENCE.

Summary

Support shipping, receiving, and production by safely moving, staging, labeling, and tracking materials while maintaining accurate inventory and following safety and ISO requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift and other material-handling equipment.
• Pull, verify, stage, and deliver materials to production areas.
• Load and unload incoming and outgoing trucks.
• Use handheld scanners to route and receive products.
• Perform equipment inspections and follow safety procedures.
• Operate overhead cranes and dock locks as required.
• Weigh and count containers and verify part numbers.
• Inspect materials and containers for damage or contamination.
• Move scrap and maintain clean, organized work areas.

Qualifications

• Previous forklift experience required.
• Forklift certification must be obtained and maintained through company training.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Basic computer, reading, writing, and math skills.
• Ability to read a tape measure and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Previous warehouse, shipping, receiving, or material-handling experience preferred.
