Role Overview

BEPC is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Material Handler to support our client's manufacturing operations in Tucson, Arizona.

This is a great opportunity for candidates interested in material handling, inventory, warehouse operations, shipping and receiving, or manufacturing support. In this role, you will help keep production running smoothly by ensuring materials are accurately received, stored, tracked, and delivered where they are needed.

The ideal candidate is organized, safety-conscious, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and ready to contribute as part of a collaborative production team.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the movement, organization, and storage of materials throughout the facility.
• Deliver required materials and supplies to production teams in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and material tracking information.
• Support inventory control activities to help ensure material availability and accuracy.
• Assist with shipping and receiving operations as needed.
• Receive, organize, stage, and distribute incoming materials.
• Prepare materials for movement to production or other designated areas.
• Safely operate approved material-handling equipment.
• Follow established procedures for handling, storing, and transporting materials.
• Identify inventory discrepancies or material issues and communicate them to the appropriate team.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Work collaboratively with production, warehouse, and operations teams.
• Support additional material handling and logistics activities as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• 0–5 years of material handling, warehouse, inventory, manufacturing, logistics, or related experience.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to accurately follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to maintain organized inventory and material records.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to workplace safety and established operating procedures.
• Ability to work the required 3rd shift schedule from 10:00 PM–6:30 AM, Sunday night through Thursday night.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous material handling or warehouse experience.
• Experience supporting a manufacturing or production environment.
• Shipping and receiving experience.
• Inventory control or stockroom experience.
• Experience operating material-handling equipment.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Familiarity with industry best practices for material storage, inventory, and logistics.

Work Environment

This is a fully onsite, 3rd-shift position supporting material and production operations. Candidates should be comfortable working in an active environment where accuracy, safety, organization, and timely material movement are essential to keeping production on schedule.

The position requires regular coordination with production and warehouse teams and may involve operating material-handling equipment and moving materials throughout the facility.
