Job Description
Job Title: Material Handler
Location: 2709 Forum Drive Grand Prairie, TX, USA, 75052
Duration: 06+ months with (possibility of extensions)
Pay-Rate: $18.00 per hour on W2
Shift: 8-hour, Mon - Fri
Primary Duties
- Receive incoming customer shipments.
- Accurately enter part numbers, serial numbers, and quantities into the company system.
- Verify shipment information against packing slips and customer paperwork.
- Identify and report any receiving discrepancies, including missing, damaged, or incorrect items.
- Communicate receiving issues through email and to appropriate team members.
Required Qualifications
- Basic computer skills and accurate data entry experience.
- Strong attention to detail, especially when working with part numbers and serial numbers.
- Ability to learn company systems and procedures quickly.
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to recognize discrepancies.
- Professional written communication skills for email correspondence.
- Reliable, dependable, and able to follow established processes.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Preferred Background
· Previous experience in receiving, shipping, logistics, warehouse administration, customer service, or clerical/data entry roles.
· Experience entering data into ERP, inventory, or business systems.
