Material Handler I

Essential Functions:• Maintain accurate inventory control by following established work instructions and processes.• Move materials to and from receiving, production areas and shipping by hand, using sorting bins and carts, or other equipment • Unpack, receive, and stock materials into storeroom location(s)• Read work orders to determine material and equipment needs for production cell work• Issue critical materials to production cells • Complete the cycle count process for Value Stream; Escalate variances in counts, as needed • Respond to unplanned issues with internal customers in a timely manner • Pack and ship materials in accordance with contract requirements • Aid and/or Backfill coworkers, as needed to complete daily tasks• Ensure compliance with export compliance rules• Any other task assigned by supervisor or management
