Job Title: Material Handler
Location: Monroeville PA 15146
Duration: 12+ Months
Pay Rate: $21 per hour
Shift: 06:30 AM – 03:00 PM
 
Description:
  • As a Material Handler, you will handle and maintain the flow of material and products used in the manufacturing of photochromic dyes, OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diode) materials and optical coatings, ensuring a quality product is available to our customers.
 
Job Functions & Responsibilities
  • Use fork truck to move drums/totes/pallets of chemicals
  • Pour chemicals to distribute to labs or waste disposal.
  • Preassembles chemical for use in production batches, verifying quantities and shelf life.
  • Verify order accuracy and stage materials for shipment.
  • Load/unload materials safely and efficiently transport sitewide.
  • Perform daily equipment checks and report issues.
  • Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow all safety procedures.
  • Report inventory discrepancies or damaged goods.
  • Miscellaneous tasks as assigned by supervisor.
Skills
  • Safely operate material handling equipment (fork truck/pallet jack/etc.)
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on feet for long periods.
  • Able and willing to wear a respirator and other PPE.
  • Basic computer operation skills and other electronic devices.
  • Attention to detail and reliable work habits.
  • Be able to complete outdoor work in all weather.
  • Work as a team and be able to work unsupervised.
Education & Experience
  • High School Diploma
  • 1+ year of experience
