Johnson Service Group is seeking a Material Handler I for our client in the Biotech industry that is committed to helping patients at all stages of cancer live longer and healthier lives through their technology.    Biotech experience a plus!

6 Month Contract
Payrate $26
6 Paid Holidays

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

About the Role:
The Material Handler I is responsible for assisting the various laboratories, fulfilling the right levels of inventory, and performing real time transactions in the ERP system.
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for delivering temperature sensitive material to labs, issuing material to work orders and other uses, ensuring that all necessary transactions are completed in the ERP system.
  • Experience in fulfillment activities including delivery of critical reagents to labs, Kanban of plastic supplies and completing transactions in an ERP system.
  • Experience in rapid-growth life science environment working with temperature-sensitive materials a plus
  • Must be able to create and maintain excel skills on a need basis
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Enter Data into ERP system – Material Issuance, Transfer Orders, Inventory Transfers
  • Perform other duties as assigned
 
Essential Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma required
  • Forklift Certification preferred, not required
  • California Drivers License as Required
  • Previous work experience in a lab preferred
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and be flexible with tasks and schedules
  • Ability to work independently in a team environment
