Material Handler I

Pay Rate: $17.50 per hour

Shift Hours: 6am - 2:30pm

Summary:

• Work Mode: Onsite
• Location: Within a 50-mile radius of Dallas, TX

Responsibilities:

• Pack orders in the Parcel, Pack Center, and Flex Center Pack out Stations using the Flagship system.
• Utilize packing slips to generate print move tickets, breakdown material, sort styles, verify count, and restock warehouse locations using RF scanners.
• Verify styles and quantities of materials picked and visually inspect products.
• Scan and place products in shipping cartons with packing material to minimize damage during shipping.
• Place packing lists, content labels, and shipping labels where needed.
• Resolve discrepancies and research solutions to ensure order accuracy.
• Maintain quality workmanship, observe safety procedures, and report unsafe acts.
• Perform work of equal or lower classification if necessary.
• Continuously stand, bend, reach, lift, push, and pull.

Requirements:

• Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
• Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Dallas, TX will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Preferred Skills:

• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Minimum one year of experience in a warehouse/distribution center environment.
• Minimum 6 months of experience with Forklift, Cherry Picker, or Reach Truck.
• Flexibility to work specific hours and overtime based on customer demand.
• Previous forklift and/or order picker operation experience.
