Job Title: Material Handler – 1st Shift

Location: Torrance, CA
Pay Rate: $17.28 per hour
Shift: 1st Shift (Day Shift)

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our 1st shift team in Torrance. The Material Handler is responsible for receiving, moving, storing, and distributing materials within the warehouse while maintaining safety, accuracy, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and move materials manually or using material handling equipment

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments

• Pick, pack, and stage orders for production or shipment

• Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation

• Operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other warehouse equipment (forklift if certified)

• Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards

• Follow company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines

• Assist with general warehouse duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred

• Previous warehouse or material handling experience a plus

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods

• Basic math and reading skills

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Reliable attendance and punctuality

• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
