Shift: Monday to Thursday from 05:00 AM - 02:30 PM, Friday 05:00 AM - 09:00 AM

Summary:

The Material Handler II is responsible for inventory control, material movement, order fulfillment, shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations in support of manufacturing and distribution activities. This role requires experience with pick/pack/ship processes, inventory systems, and material handling equipment while ensuring compliance with company, GMP, and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Pick, pack, and prepare orders for customer shipments and production requirements.
  • Receive, store, retrieve, stage, and deliver raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished goods.
  • Prepare domestic, import, and export shipments, including shipping documentation and coordination with freight forwarders.
  • Coordinate courier shipments using FedEx and UPS shipping systems.
  • Verify shipment quantities and ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Perform inventory transactions using systems such as SAP and other inventory control platforms.
  • Maintain packaging supplies, pallet inventories, and warehouse organization.
  • Store materials in appropriate environments and accurately record inventory locations.
  • Support receiving activities and distribute non-production items throughout the facility.
  • Ensure products are clean, properly packaged, and free of visible debris before shipment.
  • Operate manual and powered material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain warehouse equipment and storage areas according to housekeeping standards.
  • Handle and store hazardous waste in accordance with established procedures.
  • Follow all SOPs, GMP requirements, company policies, and government regulations.
  • Perform all duties in compliance with workplace safety standards.

Required Skills:

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in pick, pack, ship, receiving, and warehouse operations.
  • Experience operating warehouse and material handling equipment.
  • Working knowledge of inventory control systems such as SAP.
  • Data entry experience and strong attention to detail.
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with import/export shipping documentation.
  • Familiarity with GMP-regulated manufacturing or distribution environments.
  • Knowledge of hazardous material handling procedures.
