Pay rate:           $22.00/hr. To $24.00 on W2
Shift:               1st Shift 6am to 2: 30pm M-F. Candidate must be open to over time and weekend hours occasionally
 
Job Description:
  • The Manufacturing Material Handler is responsible for safely moving, lifting, stacking, and transporting cases of milk and dairy products throughout the production and warehouse areas.
  • This role supports manufacturing operations by ensuring products are moved efficiently, work areas remain organized, and safety and quality standards are maintained.
  • The position requires frequent physical activity, including repetitive lifting of milk cases and working in a fast-paced production environment.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lift, carry, stack, and move cases of milk and dairy products throughout the facility.
  • Load and unload products from pallets, racks, conveyors, and storage areas.
  • Follow established quality, food safety, and manufacturing procedures.
  • Inspect products and packaging for damage or defects and report issues to leadership.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
  • Work collaboratively with production, warehouse, and quality teams to meet operational goals.
 
Qualifications:
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull milk cases and other materials throughout the shift.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Strong attention to safety and quality requirements.
  • Dependable attendance and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Previous manufacturing, production, warehouse, or material handling experience preferred.
 
Physical Requirements:
  • Frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds.
  • Continuous standing, walking, bending, and reaching throughout the shift.
  • Ability to work in refrigerated, wet, or varying temperature environments as required.
  • This position plays a critical role in supporting dairy manufacturing operations by ensuring products and materials are safely handled and moved efficiently throughout the facility.
