Job Title: Material Handler Location: Olive Branch, MS (100% Onsite) Duration: 6 Months Contract Pay range: $17.00 to $19.00 per hour on W2 Shift: 2nd Shift from 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM
Responsibilities:
Responsible for moving supplies within the warehouse by means of motorized equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, reach lifts etc.
Responsible for transporting goods, empty gaylords, containing cardboard, plastic, paper etc. through the warehouse with the use of a forklift.
Responsible for moving pallets, trash bins, supplies unto and out of trucks.
Performing basic maintenance tasks such as cleaning equipment running sweeper/scrubber.
Adhere to all safety rules, policies, and procedures.
Maintain safe actions on and off the equipment in compliance with all safety rules/regulations required by Client, federal, state, and local provisions.
Must be able to create and manage work orders in a Computerized Maintenance Management System. (MaintainX)
Work overtime when necessary.
Must have:
High School diploma or GED
Experience in Operating a forklift, Reach truck and an order picker.
Previous shipping/material handling experience.
Requires prior forklift certification
Pass forklift certifications and requirements to operate forklifts
Able to lift parts weighing in excess of fifty (50) pounds (assistance when needed) and to work in bending, squatting, and standing positions (includes working off ladders) for prolonged periods of time.
