Title: Material Handler
Location:Knoxville, TN (100% Onsite)
Duration: 6 Months (Contract)
Shift: 1st Shift 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Pay Range: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour on W2

Job Description
Loads, unloads, and moves materials within or near plant, yard, or work site. Reads work order or follows verbal instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved. .
We are hiring a Distribution Center Pick & Pack Associate to support warehouse and shipping operations for a global company. This role is responsible for accurately picking, packing, receiving, stocking, and moving materials to support customer and production needs. Candidates must be flexible and willing to assist with a variety of warehouse tasks throughout the day beyond material handling, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and general warehouse support.

Responsibilities
  • Pick and pack customer orders accurately and on time
  • Prepare shipments before daily shipping deadlines
  • Scan and track inventory using handheld scanners
  • Receive, stock, move, pack, and unpack materials
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
  • Support general warehouse and distribution operations
  • Follow all workplace safety procedures and PPE requirements
  • Assist with additional warehouse duties as assigned

Must Have
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic computer skills, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Experience using handheld scanners preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 49 lbs and stand or walk for full shifts
  • Comfortable bending, kneeling, climbing ladders, and working around warehouse equipment
  • Flexible and willing to perform multiple warehouse functions as needed throughout the shift
  • 2–3 years of warehouse, shipping/receiving, or fulfillment experience
  • Experience in manufacturing or distribution environments
  • Familiarity with pallet jacks, stacker lifts, forklifts, and wrapping equipment
  • Knowledge of pick, pack, and shipping processes and systems
