Material Handler l / Driver

Setting/Hours: 100% In-Office | 2nd shift - 2-1030

Join trak group in partnering with a growing client in Cincinnati, Ohio that’s expanding its Manufacturing team. 

Responsibilities:


  • Follows Material Control quality procedures for proper labeling, storage, and handling of materials within the warehouse environment.

  • Performs accurate inventory transactions within the warehouse management system (WMS).

  • Restocks returned materials and maintains organized inventory locations.

  • Stages and kits materials for production builds and assembly operations.

  • Completes and maintains GMP-compliant documentation, inventory records, and material tracking processes.

  • Performs lot splitting activities to support production and manufacturing requirements.

  • Maintains accurate inventory levels for GMP, development, and MRO materials.

  • Supports receiving and shipping functions, including material movement and order fulfillment activities.

  • Tracks and replenishes truck stock inventory to support operational needs.

  • Conducts daily and weekly cycle counts and participates in annual physical inventory audits.

  • Generates warehouse labels and operates pallet wrapping and banding equipment safely and efficiently.

  • Executes customer-specific palletization, packaging, and shipment preparation requirements.

  • Reorganizes inventory and restacks pallets to maximize warehouse space utilization and efficiency.

  • Supports maintenance operations by down-stocking MRO inventory items as needed.

  • Investigates, documents, and reports inventory discrepancies or variances.

  • Performs routine warehouse cleaning, organization, and general housekeeping activities.

  • Assists with scrap disposal and biohazard material handling in accordance with safety and compliance standards.

  • Supports internal audits, customer site visits, and facility tours when needed.

  • Safely transports goods using company box trucks while following all traffic laws and company safety policies.

  • Performs pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and reports maintenance or safety concerns.

  • Secures loads properly and assists with loading and unloading activities.

  • Maintains accurate driving logs, delivery documentation, and compliance records.

  • Plans delivery routes efficiently while considering road restrictions, fuel requirements, and required rest periods.

Requirements:


  • Ability to safely operate powered industrial lift equipment in a warehouse or production environment.

  • Strong ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced setting.

  • High attention to detail with strong counting accuracy and inventory control skills.

  • Effective time management skills with the ability to maintain productivity and meet deadlines.

  • Customer-service mindset with strong teamwork and collaboration abilities across departments.

Physical Requirements:


  • Ability to frequently lift, move, and handle materials weighing up to 50 pounds.

  • Ability to safely operate motor vehicles and warehouse equipment.

  • Comfortable moving continuously throughout the work shift in an active warehouse environment.

  • Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and perform physical tasks required in warehouse operations.

  • Regular onsite attendance required during standard business and operational hours.
