Schedule: 1st Shift | Monday - Friday | 6:00AM - 2:45PM

Education Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Forklift certification or the ability to successfully complete forklift training
• Valid driver's license required
• Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

Experience Requirements

• Experience in warehouse, distribution, logistics, shipping, receiving, or inventory control operations
• Experience using RF scanners and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
• Previous experience coordinating workflow or leading warehouse teams preferred
• Experience operating material handling equipment such as forklifts

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to frequently lift, move, and handle materials weighing 15-35 pounds
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
• Ability to safely operate forklifts and warehouse equipment
• Ability to work in an active warehouse environment

Job Duties

• Lead, train, coach, and support warehouse associates in daily operations
• Coordinate staffing, work assignments, and workflow to meet productivity and customer service goals
• Monitor inventory accuracy, material handling processes, and FIFO compliance
• Oversee inbound and outbound shipping, receiving, loading, and unloading activities
• Utilize WMS systems and RF scanners to manage inventory and track performance
• Promote and enforce safety procedures, equipment inspections, and compliance standards
• Communicate shift priorities, operational updates, and performance metrics with team members and management
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and overall warehouse performance

What You Will Do

As a Material Handler Lead you will receive, move, stage, load, unload, organize, and transport materials throughout warehouse or manufacturing operations. You will verify inventory, maintain accurate product locations, prepare materials for production or shipment, assist with inventory control, and help ensure safe, efficient movement of products while following established workplace procedures.

A Material Handler Lead helps maintain efficient warehouse operations by transporting materials, organizing inventory, and supporting production workflows. This role requires strong work habits, attention to detail, and the ability to safely handle a wide variety of products and materials.

The Material Handler Lead combines material handling skills with inventory awareness and warehouse organization to help ensure products are available when and where they are needed.
