About the Role

The Material Handler I position is responsible for manually moving, loading, unloading, and staging materials within warehouse and production environments. This role supports inventory accuracy, assists with shipping and receiving, and ensures a safe and organized work setting to meet daily operational goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Manually move, load, unload, and stage materials within warehouse or production areas
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials for quantity and visible damage
• Pick, prepare, and stage materials for production or shipment
• Sort, label, wrap, and organize products and materials efficiently
• Use manual handling equipment such as pallet jacks, carts, and hand trucks
• Maintain accurate inventory, shipping, and receiving records
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks for timely deliveries
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace
• Perform repetitive lifting, bending, standing, and walking throughout shifts
• Collaborate with warehouse and production teams to meet daily operational goals
• Follow verbal and written instructions accurately

Required Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Basic reading, writing, and counting skills
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Capable of following verbal and written instructions

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous warehouse or material-handling experience
• Experience with inventory management or shipping & receiving practices

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

Repetitive lifting, bending, standing, and walking throughout the shift in a warehouse environment following safety procedures.
