We are seeking a hands-on Materlal Handler / Logistics Coordinator to support daily warehouse and/or cleanroom operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment in Norwalk, CT. This role coordinates material handlers, supports operational flow, and works closely with team leads and cross-functional departments to ensure productivity, quality, and safety standards are met.
Hours are Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm. Pay depends on experience
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate daily logistics and operational activities for assigned shifts
Create staffing plans to meet production and operational demands
Identify and resolve workflow disruptions, inventory issues, and system errors
Communicate priorities to shop floor employees and support junior team members
Monitor operational flow and adjust resources to prevent bottlenecks
Support quality, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives
Assist with onboarding, training, and development of team members
Participate in departmental projects and process improvement efforts
Act as backup/delegate for Team Lead when needed
Qualifications
Secondary vocational education Level 3 or 4 preferred
Strong experience in logistics, warehouse, or manufacturing operations
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Team-oriented with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities
Experience with lean manufacturing, 5S, or operational improvement is a plus
