Material Handler

Material Handler – First Shift (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM)

Compensation: $18.25 per hour

The Material Handler is responsible for accurately receiving, counting, verifying, and storing materials to support efficient production and inventory control. This position plays a critical role in maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring that materials are properly managed within the facility. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, organizational capability, and a commitment to operational excellence.

Primary Responsibilities

• Process raw material parts in and out of the system using QAD, Eagle, and KBM
• Accurately count and verify the identity and quantity of all materials pulled
• Ensure all materials are stored in their designated locations in accordance with company standards
• Conduct cycle counts to support ongoing inventory accuracy and reconciliation
• Utilize RF scanners and pallet jacks to safely move and track materials
• Support inventory control procedures and assist in resolving discrepancies as needed

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of Material Handling experience
• Familiarity with inventory accuracy and control methods
• Knowledge of material handling processes and inventory management practices
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively
• Experience using RF scanners
• Proficiency with pallet jacks (manual or electric)

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Charles, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.25 - $18.75/hr.
