A leading aerospace manufacturing company is seeking a Material Handler to support production, inventory, and warehouse operations in a fast paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for material movement, inventory accuracy, kit preparation, and supporting production teams to ensure manufacturing schedules are met.
This is a hands on role supporting aerospace and space vehicle manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate has experience working in manufacturing, aerospace, logistics, or warehouse environments with strong attention to detail and urgency.
• Move materials between warehouse, stockroom, and production areas
• Pick, stage, and deliver materials to manufacturing teams
• Perform inventory transactions within ERP or inventory management systems
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and support cycle counts
• Receive incoming shipments and verify materials against packing slips and purchase orders
• Prepare kits for production and ensure shortages are escalated quickly
• Support shipping and receiving activities as needed
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely
• Maintain clean and organized inventory locations
• Follow company safety procedures and material handling standards
• Support production teams to avoid downtime and material shortages
• Handle sensitive aerospace hardware with care and accuracy
• 2+ years of experience in material handling, warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing support
• Experience in aerospace, manufacturing, or high mix production environments preferred
• ERP or inventory system experience required
• Forklift experience preferred
• Ability to read work orders, pick lists, and inventory documentation
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Comfortable working in a fast paced production environment
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Experience supporting aerospace or space manufacturing operations
• Familiarity with FIFO inventory processes and cycle counting
• Experience with shipping, receiving, and inventory control
• Knowledge of ESD and handling sensitive components preferred
• Experience with kitting and production support operations
