Description for Pipe Yard Material Handler:

• Safely move, load, unload, and stage pipe products utilizing appropriate material handling equipment.
• Process and band pipe shipments cleanly using commercial tensioning tools according to customer specs.
• Handle a diverse range of inventory profiles, spanning from small diameter tubes to large 40-foot lengths.
• Coordinate with incoming transit trucks to stage raw materials and secure outgoing flatbed freight.
• Execute routine equipment safety logs and maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free yard.

Details for Pipe Yard Material Handler:

• Pay Range: $19.00 – $25.00 / hour (DOE).
• Schedule: Monday – Friday | Day shift with flexible 8 to 10-hour workdays.
• Location: Cowlitz County facility.
• Position Type: Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire.

Requirements for Pipe Yard Material Handler:

• Prior verifiable experience working specifically inside a steel pipe yard or heavy industrial material handling yard required.
• Proven, hands-on background moving, loading, processing, and steel-banding industrial inventory.
• Demonstrated ability and spatial awareness to handle heavy industrial products up to 40 feet in length safely.
• Physical capability to handle manual yard labor, work in varying weather, and lift up to 75 lbs.
• Exceptional history of daily attendance, prompt punctuality, and reliable transportation.
