Description for Pipe Yard Material Handler:
Safely move, load, unload, and stage pipe products utilizing appropriate material handling equipment.
Process and band pipe shipments cleanly using commercial tensioning tools according to customer specs.
Handle a diverse range of inventory profiles, spanning from small diameter tubes to large 40-foot lengths.
Coordinate with incoming transit trucks to stage raw materials and secure outgoing flatbed freight.
Execute routine equipment safety logs and maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free yard.
Details for Pipe Yard Material Handler:
Pay Range: $19.00 – $25.00 / hour (DOE).
Schedule: Monday – Friday | Day shift with flexible 8 to 10-hour workdays.
Location: Cowlitz County facility.
Position Type: Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire.
Requirements for Pipe Yard Material Handler:
Prior verifiable experience working specifically inside a steel pipe yard or heavy industrial material handling yard required.
Proven, hands-on background moving, loading, processing, and steel-banding industrial inventory.
Demonstrated ability and spatial awareness to handle heavy industrial products up to 40 feet in length safely.
Physical capability to handle manual yard labor, work in varying weather, and lift up to 75 lbs.
Exceptional history of daily attendance, prompt punctuality, and reliable transportation.
