Position Summary
As a Material Handler you will be responsible for pulling material from warehouse to support production material needs. Stock designated storage/staging areas. Assist with shipping/receiving duties and other warehouse responsibilities. Perform accurate inventory system transactions for components moving between/within the warehouse and production areas via mobile equipment and/or desktop computer. Use powered or manual equipment to move items to designated storage areas.
Shift: 6:00am-2:00pm Monday - Friday
What you will do as Material Handler
Pick raw materials from warehouse to replenish production supermarkets, Kanban bins/carts, or other designated areas on the manufacturing floor
Perform inventory transactions and transfers in the inventory system
Operate equipment, such as forklift, electric and manual pallet jacks, and stretch wrapper for material handling and loading/unloading of trucks
Assist receiving with the unloading of incoming materials and items, along with the labelling and the put-away of materials to designated locations, and the delivery of items to designated personnel
Maintain inventory accuracy by aiding in cycle counts
Confer and correspond with supervisor to resolve problems, such as missing paperwork, damages, shortages, and nonconformance to procedures and policy
Pull from storage, load, unload, move, transport, and store items according to routing documents, system driven tasks, or supervisor instruction
Comply with all quality systems, safety, security, and shop practice requirements
Perform other duties as assigned
The Experience, Skills and Abilities
Required:
GED/High School Diploma
Must have ability to work from verbal/written instructions
Individual must be able to adapt to change and be flexible to meet reasonable objectives
Position requires lifting (up to 50 lbs), bending, standing, sitting, and hand/finger dexterity
Ability to work individually or in a team environment
Must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of facility staff
Basic arithmetic skills, the ability to read and understand procedures and documents, the ability to record and verify data
Other:
Shipping and receiving or material handling experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
Operating a forklift or a powered pallet jack
Warehouse Management System

Pay range for this opportunity is $17.77 - $23.00. This position is eligible for bonus participation.
Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than range listed. Pay rates are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to local labor market costs, years of relevant experience, education, professional certifications, foreign language fluency, etc.
