Material Handler / Metal Recycler

Legacy Staffing has partnered with a leading manufacturer in Northeast Ohio to hire a Material Handler / Chip Spinner to support daily production operations. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow within a stable machining environment.

If you're dependable, hands-on, and enjoy staying active throughout your shift, this role offers a strong entry point into manufacturing with room to advance. This will be on their 3rd Shift. 11pm to 7:00 pm

Pay

• $16.55 to 18.55 per hour
• Full-time opportunity

What You'll Do

• Operate chip spinner equipment to process metal chips and separate materials
• Load/unload chip bins and monitor equipment performance
• Transport raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods throughout the facility
• Keep machines supplied with materials to prevent downtime
• Move completed parts to inspection, secondary operations, or shipping
• Assist with staging, organizing, and tracking materials and inventory
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and carts (training available)
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and follow all safety procedures

What You Bring

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment (noise, coolant, metal chips)
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
• Previous manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred
• Forklift experience is a plus (not required)
• Basic knowledge of metals (steel, aluminum, brass) is helpful
