Job Summary/Company:  Sparks Group has partnered with a leading aviation parts distributor seeking Material handlers.  If you have 6-12 months of warehouse experience, this is the ideal role for you apply now and call 703-620-6444

  • fulfill distribution and Inventory Cycle count function performed within the warehouse necessary to service the customer
  • Perform tasks associated with the receipt, storage, inventory cycle count and shipment of product, while meeting productivity, quality, safety, business conduct and attendance expectations
  • Effectively and efficiently use established procedures, tools, equipment, and technologies to complete transactions related to inbound and outbound processes with a distribution center
  • Safely perform assigned warehouse functions utilizing established processes, procedures and tools, while meeting performance expectations for productivity, quality, safety and attendance
  • Functions may include, but are not limited to unloading, put-away, sorting, labeling, picking, packing, replenishing, cycle count, auditing, shipping, making boxes, etc
  • Verification of inventory quantities and condition at pick locations or stock locations within the warehouse
  • Count and account for shortages, mis-picks and credits
  • Research inventory variances as part of the Cycle Count Audit Program
  • Report inventory discrepancies of his/her findings or any inventory related variance to the Inventory Manager
  • Comply with policies, guidelines and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations, OSHA and Hazardous Material requirements in the storage, handling and movement of product
  • Perform necessary housekeeping duties in order to maintain a clean, safe, organized work environment

Qualifications:

6-12 Months of Warehouse Experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Able to pass background and drug screen
