Your Role as a Material Handler

As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for the movement of raw materials to and from different departments and process areas. You will handle the scanning and stocking of materials and be responsible to follow the processes as described by the job/work instructions. You will report to the Production Supervisors.

Safely operating a fork truck/hi-lo to move product throughout the manufacturing facility, you will stock raw material, move completed material to storage or shipping locations, and stock line-side rack. You will work within different departments as directed, sorting, organizing, arranging, and storing dunnage returned from customers. Additionally, you will move raw goods to and from inventory locations to points of use and move in-process product among work centers.

Loading of bins and bin contents into production lines, you will also utilize electronic locating and transferring of raw goods and finished product with the use of hand-held scanners. Furthermore, you will assemble raw goods such as boxes and spools. In the event of any incidents involving fork truck/hi-lo accidents, you will report promptly to your supervisor or SHEQ.

• 1 year of Material Handling experience, including fork truck driving experience • Understanding that Safety and Quality come first • Computer skills to include Microsoft Office Suite • Prefer manufacturing or warehouse environment of 1 year or more • High School diploma or Equivalent • Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs. regularly throughout the workday
