Material Handler - New Opening!

Allied Personnel Services is seeking candidates for a Material Handler opening! This long term opportunity offers full time, 1st shift hours (630-3p) - hours may fluctuate a little based on work load. Pay is $20.00/hr.

In this role you will play a crucial role in ensuring raw materials and work in progress items are delivered to production associates:

• receive, store, and distribute materials
• operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move raw materials, production supplies, and finished products
• stage materials
• place materials into coolers and record lot/quality data
• receive, transfer, and release materials into inventory using ERP
• monitor stock levels in ERP
• process purchase orders, work orders, and material requests within ERP
• conduct cycle counts and physical inventory audits

Candidates for this role must have material handling experience and MS Office skills. Forklift skills are a must. Experience working in a food manufacturing setting ideal. Experience working w/ a WMS or ERP is needed. A HS diploma/GED is required.  Successful candidates will be able to work in a variety of temperatures.
