Job Summary:
The Material Handler is responsible for receiving, distributing, and maintaining inventory to support production operations. This role ensures accurate inventory management, supports production kitting processes, and maintains efficient material flow within the warehouse and manufacturing environment.
The position involves performing inventory cycle counts, unloading shipments, supporting production material needs, and ensuring inventory accuracy while maintaining compliance with safety and quality procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive and distribute incoming goods within the warehouse and production environment
Perform cycle counting of finished goods and component inventory
Support work order kitting, KanBan replenishment, and production shortages or backorders
Unload trucks using forklifts and pallet jacks
Generate daily cycle count worksheets, backorder reports, and negative inventory reports
Perform daily cycle count activities and reconcile inventory variances
Verify and maintain records of incoming and outgoing shipments
Maintain stock levels to ensure uninterrupted flow of raw materials to production
Operate warehouse vehicles and equipment safely and store equipment properly
Maintain organized and compliant warehouse spaces
Support production operations and coordinate with distribution centers and production supervisors
Required Experience:
1–3 years of related warehouse, logistics, or material handling experience
Experience supporting inventory management and warehouse operations
Experience operating forklifts or pallet jacks
Nice-to-Have Experience:
Experience working with MRP systems
Experience using Oracle or Agile applications
Experience supporting production or manufacturing environments

Ability to maintain inventory accuracy through cycle count programs
Ability to lift and move materials up to 45 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 75 pounds

Compliance with safety regulations, PPE requirements, and quality system procedures
Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
Ability to maintain organized warehouse spaces and work areas
Ability to communicate effectively with production supervisors and distribution teams
Ability to ensure production continuity by preventing material shortages
