Job Description
Job Summary:
Performs the physical or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, cycle counting storing and distributing of materials, parts, supplies, and equipment. Unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of received goods and rejects unsatisfactory items. Pulls kits and fulfills work orders in support of manufacturing activities.
Essential Functions:
1.Pulls and issues work orders and backorders to work in process
2.Received material into stock from vendors and customer returns
3.Packs and ships parts and spares orders
4.Takes inventory cycle counts
5.Enters receiving and shipping information into inventory, shipping, and customer support database systems
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
1.Must be able to lift to 50 lbs.
2.Must be able to work with large assemblies requiring lifting assistance
3.Must be able to operate a forklift for purposes of unloading delivery trucks and to load larger items for shipment
Minimum education and work experience required:
1.Good hand/eye coordination and mechanical aptitude
2.Must be able to distinguish colors
3.Knowledge of computer manifesting system and MS office.
4.Ability to work with computer-based systems for inventory, shipment tracking, and customer service
5.High school diploma or equivalent
6.3 years related experience
