Job Summary:
The Material Handler supports warehouse and inventory operations including shipping, receiving, storage, and distribution of materials. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, performing cycle counts, and ensuring efficient material movement across production and warehouse environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform physical and administrative tasks related to shipping, receiving, storing, and distributing materials
Check incoming goods against purchase orders or invoices and reject unsatisfactory items
Package and prepare products for shipment, including posting weights and shipping charges
Maintain accurate records of merchandise shipped and received
Review customer orders and distribute materials accordingly
Support inventory activities including cycle counting, kitting, and production order receiving
Perform point-of-use inventory transfers and incoming parts stocking
Execute material transfers and transactions within systems
Pick materials and complete associated system transactions
Maintain organization within warehouse and inventory areas
Required Experience:
High School Diploma
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Excel and Office
Ability to lift up to 20 lbs
Nice-to-Have Experience:
Experience in electronics manufacturing
Prior experience with ERP systems
Experience in inventory control or shipping and receiving
