Material Handler

PGS Worldwide is seeking a Material Handler in Oldsmar, FL for a one-year contract-to-hire role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company.

The Material Handler will support wire cutting, label printing, order fulfillment, material preparation, and basic warehouse support in a fast-paced production environment. This role requires basic computer skills, attention to detail, measurement skills, the ability to read and write English, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs while working on your feet for much of the shift.

Required Skills

• 1–2 years of attention to detail in a work environment.
• 1–2 years of basic computer skills.
• Measurement skills.
• Ability to cut wire, print labels, and fill orders accurately.
• Ability to read and understand numerical values.
• Ability to determine color accurately.
• Ability to measure lengths.
• Ability to lift approximately 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout much of the shift.
• Ability to read and write English.
• Ability to pass required medical exam.
• Strong task completion drive and reliability.

Preferred Skills

• Material handling, warehouse, wire processing, kitting, order fulfillment, production support, or manufacturing experience.
• Experience using computers to print labels, process orders, or track materials.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, detail-oriented production environment.

What You’ll Do

• Cut wire to required lengths.
• Print labels and support order fulfillment.
• Fill material orders accurately.
• Read and interpret numerical values, colors, and measurements.
• Use basic computer systems to support daily tasks.
• Move, lift, and organize materials as needed.
• Maintain accuracy and attention to detail while completing repetitive production support tasks.
• Stay active and mobile throughout the shift.
• Follow workplace safety, quality, and documentation requirements.

Work Schedule / Shift

• Monday–Thursday, 3:30 PM–2:00 AM.
• Overtime may be required as needed.

Pay

• $17.00–$20.00/hour
