What You'll Do:
Accurately pull customer orders using forklifts, side-loaders, or other warehouse equipmentLoad and unload building materials including lumber, plywood, and other wood productsPrepare orders for shipment, ensuring correct labeling, packaging, and stagingSafely move products throughout the warehouse and yardMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentAssist with inventory counts, cycle counts, and stock rotationFollow all safety protocols and company policies
What We're Looking For:
Experience in a warehouse, distribution, or lumberyard environment preferredAbility to operate a forklift or willingness to be trained and certifiedComfortable working outdoors and indoors in varying weather conditionsStrong attention to detail - accuracy matters in this roleDependable, team‑oriented, and self‑motivatedAbility to lift, move, and handle materials up to 50-75 lbs as needed

The fixed rate is $22.00 per hour, but no less than the local minimum wage. Actual compensation will depend on factors including experience, qualifications, skills, geographic location, and other job-related considerations. BlueLinx also offers a comprehensive benefits package including health care, dental, vision, life and disability insurance starting the first day of the month, 15 days of paid time off that start accruing your first day, and 8 paid holidays per year.
