Nesco Resource is seeking an experienced Hi-lo Driver for our long-term client in Warren. Associates must meet all requirements for this position, and client interviews will be scheduled for those who meet them. This is a first shift position, and the hours are 5:50 AM- 2:05 PM.
The Hi-lo Driver ensures the correct flow, staging, and replenishment of all packaging materials required for the ESS production Process. This role is responsible for unloading packaging materials, moving them to designated line-side locations, supporting line replenishment, and handling empty containers and returns. The Hi-lo Driver, follows standard operating procedures, performs visual quality checks on packaging components, and promotes overall organization of the warehouse and production floor.

ESSENTIAL ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Receive, move, and stage packaging materials (trays, cartons, foam, pallets, labels).
Deliver the correct packaging materials to the production line.
Store packaging in the correct line-side or warehouse locations using FIFO.
Inspect packaging materials for damage or incorrect items.
Collect leftover packaging from the line and return it to storage areas.
Handle scrap materials safely, including damaged cells or contaminated packaging.
Handle empty pallets, bins, and reusable containers.
Assist with physical inventory by identifying and reporting counts.
Support to Material Specialist / Drop Zone Activities
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area to ensure good material flow (new, used, returnable, scrap).
Follow all EHS requirements, including PPE and safety rules for battery handling.
Maintain 5S in all packaging areas (cleaning, organizing, labeling).
Other Tasks as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
Working Experience in materials/logistics areas.
Cycle count experience is preferred.
Working Level Knowledge of: Materials and Logistics.
Highly Organized and Detail-Oriented.
Ability to stand, walk, carry light objects, handle parts, reach with hands and arms, lift, push, and pull materials up to 40–50 lbs regularly.
Ability to multitask and work with minimum supervision
Ability to work overtime as business needs dictate.
Ability to travel between manufacturing facilities as required.
Good organization skills to keep packaging areas sorted and clean.
Ability to stand and walk for 8–12 hours per shift.
Frequent bending, reaching, twisting, and handling of materials.
Ability to work in areas with moving equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks).
Flexible and capable of adapting to change, with the ability to follow work instructions.
Basic knowledge of material identification (good, scrap, recyclable).
Ability to safely handle battery components and packaging materials.
Basic understanding of material movement and line-side staging.
Ability to communicate issues clearly to team leads or supervisors.
Basic understanding of safety requirements (PPE, chemical safety, lifting safety).
