Material Handler Pallet Manufacturing

Overview

As a Material Handler, you'll get to operate some of our heavy equipment and monitor the quality of its operation. You will efficiently load and unload the heavy equipment with lumber while maintaining safety and top quality. This role is vital to keeping our operation running at the highest productivity!

Pay Rate: $28.00/hr. - $32.00/hr.

What You''ll Do

• The Material Handler will be responsible for operating saws and resaw machines and having knowledge of all machine controls
• Set up machine changeovers, as needed
• Follow all safety rules and procedures, as required.

What You''ll Need

• High School Diploma or GED

• Ability to lift wooden pallets which weigh about 50 lbs. on a regular basis

• Previous lumber, warehouse, construction, carpentry, landscaping, roofing, experience highly preferred

• Quick hands, attention to detail, commitment to quality

• Ability to communicate effectively

• Ability to work overtime as needed

• Ability to work in extreme conditions to include, but not limited to, elements, heat, cold, and air particulate

• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required (eye protection, ear protection is mandatory at several locations, safety shoes)
