Material Handler

This position is based on-site in Parsippany, NJ. Relocation assistance is not available for this role.

MAIN FUNCTION:

Fill orders accurately using picking documents and/or RF scanners; move products, supplies, and other materials according to established policies and procedures. Operate hi-lo equipment and or pallet jack to effectively and safely move products and materials. Label products with Shipping ASN Labels.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or GED; at least 6 months of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified
• Knowledge of warehousing methodology
• Ability to multitask and work as part of a team
• Proficient with barcode scanning equipment
• Forklift certification

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Store and retrieve product from pallet racks and other storage devices according to procedures established by PNY.
• Accurate and timely fulfillment of work orders and sales orders.
• Perform inventory cycle counts and material transfers, as needed.
• Compliance with PNY's procedures and guidelines in order to minimize inventory discrepancies.
• Safely operate forklifts and pallet jack equipment.
• Maintain a clean work area on an ongoing basis.
• Stretch-wrap shipping products or stock materials onto racking.
• Load or unload trucks and trailers
