Material Handler

Inventory/Material Handler (Warehouse) – Phoenix, AZ

Hours: 6:00am-2:30pm M-F.
Occasional OT may be necessary at times.

Pay: $19-23.hr.  Depending on Experience Level

We are looking for a reliable Material Handler associate with inventory control experience to join our warehouse team in Phoenix.

This  is a permanent full time position with benefits.

This role is responsible for receiving, storing, moving, and shipping materials while maintaining accurate inventory and a safe, organized warehouse.
 

Responsibilities:
 

• Operate a forklift safely
• Receive, stock, pick, stage, and ship materials
• Perform cycle counts and maintain inventory accuracy
• Enter inventory transactions into the company system
• Load and unload trucks
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies
• Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe
• Use Excel, Word, and Outlook for basic reporting and communication
• Work with operations and customer service teams to ensure accurate orders

 

Requirements:

 

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of warehouse experience
• Forklift certification (or ability to obtain immediately)
• Experience with inventory control and cycle counting
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly (up to 100 lbs. occasionally)
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Valid driver's license

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

• Experience with ERP systems such as Syteline
• Experience in manufacturing, metal, construction, or building materials industries
• Experience supporting inventory audits and reconciliations
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus
