Position Overview

We are seeking dependable and hardworking candidates for a Material Handler position in Pittsburg, KS. This role is responsible for moving raw materials and finished products throughout a manufacturing facility to support production schedules, shipping requirements, and overall operational efficiency.

Required Experience & Skills

High School Diploma or GED preferred
Forklift experience preferred
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs throughout the shift
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and remain active for extended periods
Basic math and communication skills
Ability to read work orders and follow written or verbal instructions
Manufacturing or warehouse experience is a plus
Strong attention to safety, organization, and accuracy
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic are required

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Pull and stage raw materials, supplies, and components for production jobs
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other material-handling equipment
Transport finished goods to shipping and warehouse areas
Inspect materials and products for damage, defects, or quality concerns
Label, package, stack, and organize products according to specifications
Maintain inventory accuracy and complete required documentation
Assist machine operators and production staff as needed
Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment
Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards

Climate-controlled manufacturing facility
Fast-paced production environment
Physically active role requiring lifting, walking, bending, repetitive movement, and material handling
Overtime or schedule adjustments may be required based on production needs
