Position: Press Material Handler / Bindery Material Handler in the Pressroom department, located in Pontiac, IL. This temporary-to-hire role pays $15.00/hour with fixed shifts available on 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shifts, starting in late January or early February (Mondays only).
Overview: This entry-level, hands-on position involves supporting daily production by moving, loading, and staging materials for printing and bindery processes. It offers opportunities for long-term growth after conversion to full-time.
Responsibilities include loading/unloading paper and materials, supplying presses and bindery machines, assisting operators, performing manual tasks while standing, maintaining a clean work environment, and following safety procedures.
Requirements: Prior manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred but not required. Must be able to perform physical tasks such as standing, repetitive motion, and lifting. Must be reliable, detail-oriented, team-focused, and comfortable in an industrial environment. No advanced education needed.
