Now Hiring Material Handlers!Qualified Staffing is hiring Material Handlers for a manufacturing company in Richmond, VA. This role supports the Assembly Department by moving parts and materials throughout the facility, helping production stay on schedule, and maintaining accurate inventory records in a welding and fabrication environment.
What You’ll Do

• Move raw materials and finished parts between receiving, production, assembly, and shipping areas
• Pull materials based on work orders, schedules, or supervisor instructions
• Load and unload trucks, pallets, racks, and shelves using forklifts or manual methods
• Stage orders for fabrication and assembly teams
• Use scanners or computer systems to track inventory and record transactions
• Inspect loads for accuracy and report shortages or discrepancies
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace
• Follow all safety policies and use proper PPE at all times

What We’re Looking For

• At least 1 year of material handling or warehouse experience in a manufacturing environment
• Forklift experience required; cherry picker or stand-up lift experience is a plus
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with RF scanners helpful
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow work orders
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with assistance when needed
• Comfortable working on concrete floors in a loud production setting
• Good communication skills and reliable attendance
